The next chapter unfolded in 2025, when JD Robertson, who has been practicing since 2016, became part of the leadership team. JD brought a sharp legal mind and a calm, solution-oriented approach to litigation, mediation, and problem solving. With his arrival, the firm evolved into Dykes du Plessis Robertson Inc., reflecting the strength of its new partnership.

JD Robertson
Director
JD Robertson is a mediator and litigator and one of a handful of mediators registered with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Platform, established under the Gauteng High Courts Directives. His practice focuses on dispute resolution in property transfers, family law and contract law matters. JD litigates for a select group of clients and has right of appearance in the High Court, where he often appears.
